effects on the individual’s academic, social or vocational life. Their services are crucial in identifying people with psychogenic hearing loss also.
Speech Language Pathology
A Speech Language Pathologist or an SLP evaluate and provide remedial services to children and adults with speech, language , voice and swallowing problems. They work with people of all ages presenting a communication impairment due to conditions like Disorders in Autism Spectrum, Hearing Loss, Learning Disorder, Aphasia, Stuttering, Laryngeal Dysfunction and the like.
